Tuesday, Timothy Robert Hoskins, 49, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after entering a guilty plea in two indecency with a child by contact cases.
Hoskins entered the plea Monday and waived a jury for the punishment phase of the trial, allowing 29th District Judge Michael Moore to set his sentence. Moore also assessed a fine of $2,500 in each case. The two sentences will run concurrently.
The victims were reported to be 5 and 9 at the time of the offense.
District Attorney Michael Burns called Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Office Deputy Chad Jordan as his first witness.
Jordan testified that the notification of the allegation came from Child Protective Services in Dallas where the victims had made an outcry to their grandmother.
