Following are a few of the events over the July 4 holiday.
Friday, July 4
Graham’s annual Red, White & You Parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the square in downtown Graham.
Graford’s annual Fourth of July in the Park begins at 6 p.m. Friday, July 4.
As in years past, there will be hot dogs, ice cream and cake as well as live music.
Fireworks are set to begin at 9:30 p.m.
The park is located on Main just north of Highway 254.
Mineral Wells Fourth
The annual Mineral Wells Fourth of July fireworks show will begin at dusk, Friday, July 4, at Ram Stadium, in Mineral Wells.
The Harbor Fireworks
The Harbor will present a fireworks show Friday evening.
Saturday, July 5
VFW Fish Fry
The annual VFW fish fry will be held beginning at noon Saturday, July 5, at VFW Post 2399 in Mineral Wells.
The lunch is free and the public is invited to attend.
Hell’s Gate Fireworks
The annual Possum Kingdom Chamber of Commerce Hell’s Gate Fireworks Show will be held Saturday, July 5.
As in years past, the show can be seen from land or water.
YMCA Camp Grady Spruce will allow visitors access to the facility directly across from Hell’s Gate for $5 per person, age 3 and under free. Gates will be open 5:30-8:45 p.m.
The camp is not accessible by boat and alcohol and pets are strictly forbidden. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
The PK chamber is accepting donations to help with the show. Mail checks to the chamber, 362 N. FM 2353, Graford, TX 76449.
