The first annual "Boots and Hoses Cook-off and Concert" will take place Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19, at the Walking K Ranch in Ivan.
The entry fee is $20 for each division or $80 for all five divisions which includes chili, ribs, brisket, chicken and beans. The cook-off will take place Saturday, Oct. 19.
The event will feature live music both nights. Pre-sale tickets will cost $40 for a weekend pass. Tickets will cost $30 per night at the gate. Children age 12 and under will get in free.
Friday's concert line-up will feature Jamie Richards, 10 p.m.-midnight; Josh Ward, 8-9:30 p.m.; and Steven Staley, 6-8 p.m.
Saturday's concert line-up will feature No Justice, 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.; Thieving Birds, 8:45-10:15 p.m.; Austin Allsup, 7-8:30 p.m.; Joey Green, 5-6:30 p.m.; and Nick Verdoza, 3:45-4:45 p.m.
Primitive camping will be available.
All proceeds from the event will go toward Hubbard Creek VFD, Eliasville VFD, Loving VFD and Caddo VFD.
