Fort Richardson Days
Fort Richardson State Park & Historic Site extended an invitation to attend the annual “Fort Richardson Days” living history re-enactment that will be held Friday and Saturday, April 11-12.
Friday’s event will be dedicated entirely to school groups to participate and meet the presenters. Events will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and will be a free entrance for all school groups, adults and children included.
Saturday, the grounds will be open 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for the public. Regular park admission fees will apply.

Saturday, April 12
The second annual Run for the Rescue 5k, 10k and one-mile family fun run will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at Gordon ISD offices, 112 Rusk St.
The run course will go through historic downtown Gordon and includes the surroundings of a pecan orchard.
All ages are welcome as well as leashed furry family members.

Relay for Life
The Graford Relay for Life Spring Fling will take place 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, April 12, in downtown Graford.
Cook-off and bake-off rules, guidelines and registration forms are available at Graford City Hall, Morrow Grocery, The Cafe in Graford or at Titan Bank in Graford. Cut-off date for registration for vendors is Wednesday, April 9.
Luminaries will be available for a cost of $5 each at the Relay for Life table.

Easter Egg Hunt
The Possum Kingdom Chamber of Commerce annual Easter egg hunt will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at North D&D.
There will be egg hunts for separate age groups and there will be sweet treats, the Easter bunny and prizes.
Parking will be around the center park area and the event is open to the public.

Arte de los Brazos Art Show and Sale will be held beginning Saturday, April 26, at the Possum Kingdom Chamber of Commerce, 362 N. FM 2353.
The show will continue through Saturday, May 3. Hours will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays; 1-4 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 p.m. weekdays.
