Graford Fourth
Graford's annual Fourth of July in the Park begins at 6 p.m. Friday, July 4.
As in years past, there will be hot dogs, ice cream and cake as well as live music.
Fireworks are set to begin at 9:30 p.m.
The park is located on Main just north of Highway 254.

Mineral Wells Fourth
The annual Mineral Wells Fourth of July fireworks show will begin at dusk, Friday, July 4, at Ram Stadium, in Mineral Wells.

Saturday, July 5
Hell's Gate Fireworks
The annual Possum Kingdom Chamber of Commerce Hell's Gate Fireworks Show will be held Saturday, July 5.
As in years past, the show can be seen from land or water.
YMCA Camp Grady Spruce will allow visitors access to the facility directly across from Hell's Gate for $5 per person, age 3 and under free. Gates will be open 5:30-8:45 p.m.
The camp is not accessible by boat and alcohol and pets are strictly forbidden. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
The PK chamber is accepting donations to help with the show. Mail checks to the chamber, 362 N. FM 2353, Graford, TX 76449.

STAR+PLUS Briefing
An information and enrollment meeting about Medicaid managed care options will be held 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, July 8, at Palo Pinto General Hospital, 400 SW 25th Ave., Mineral Wells.


Older adults who have Medicaid and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are on Medicaid will get some or all health-related services through a managed care plan beginning Monday, Sept. 1.
The informational meeting will help individuals and families learn more about the choices that will be available in Palo Pinto County.
At the session, individuals can sign up with a STAR+PLUS health plan or change their current plan to a STAR+PLUS plan if they are enrolled in the STAR program, sign up with a primary care provider and register to get an identification card.

Buckets and Boots
The Buckets and Boots Foundation will host the fourth annual Buckets and Boots Benefit bash Saturday, July 12, at the Rocker B Ranch Amphitheater on Chaney Lane west of Graford.
This year's program features The Bellamy Brothers, Pat Green, Wade Bowen, Stoney Larue and Josh Weathers.
Gates will open at 4 p.m. the event begins at 5:30.
General admission ticket prices are $25 in advance and $35 at the gate. Admission for children 12 and under is free.

One Day Sale
The Possum Kingdom East Volunteer Fire Department and EMS Auxiliary will hold a one day sale beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at the auxiliary's new location, 142 La Villa Road, on the lake's East Side.
As always, there will be a large selection of treasures, clothing furniture and sporting goods at bargain prices.

Fish Fry
Possum Kingdom East Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fish fry 4-8 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the station, 358 N. FM 2353.
The menu offers fish, french fries, tea, desserts and more for a donation to the department.
This annual fund-raiser helps the department with the purchase of equipment and supplies to help keep PK and surrounding areas safe.

Church Youth Program
PK Community Church holds a youth and children program 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays at Charlie's Angels Senior Center.

The Inland Divers Association is now accepting applications for membership.

The auxiliary is no longer accepting mattresses or box springs. Do not leave donated items outside the fire station or Lions Club.
