At Graford’s annual Fourth of July celebration, local Masonic Lodge members Travis Rogers, Rowdy Glover and Keith Randall presented Kay Ragle with a Community Builders Award in appreciation for the work she has done.
The annual celebration brought the community of Graford together at City Park with live entertainment, free hayrides, hotdogs, ice cream and cold drinks.
Country music filled the evening air with tunes by Brady Bowen & Swing Country’s band, whose members are Albert Talley, playing steel guitar; Mike Poe, lead guitar and vocals; Jim Polk, base guitar; Terry Thompson, drums; and Brady Bowen playing the fiddle. Tommy Thompson and Debbie Talley also stepped in and sang a few songs.
“This event is sponsored by the whole community, including local clubs and businesses,” said Kathy Fowler, a member of Graford’s Lions Club, one of the sponsors.
At nightfall, there was a fireworks display to delight people of all ages.
