A winter storm watch was upgraded to a winter storm warning late last week. The storm warning was to run through noon Monday, but Sunday evening that was downgraded to a winter storm watch. Forecasters predicted up to 2 inches of sleet, ice roads, freezing rain and snow for the area, but it never really developed. Rain started the mix of weather and a strong cold front blew in Friday, dropping temperatures throughout the day. While there was a mix of sleet and freezing rain that covered the ground, it melted once the precipitation passed. However, as a precaution, Graford school closed at 1:30 and the Graford Tournament basketball games were postponed.
