A Palo Pinto grand jury returned a dozen indictments last week - including one against Julian Morado for intoxication manslaughter. Morado, of Mineral Wells, is alleged to have struck and killed Alton Harold Alexander July 20 while Alexander was riding his horse along Highway 180 west of Mineral Wells. Morado was alleged to have left the scene of the accident. The case was filed by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Bonds were set at $20,000 for intoxication manslaughter, $15,000 for failure to stop and render aid and $2,500 for driving while license suspended. He remained in Palo Pinto Jail Monday
