The Texas Water Development Board approved by resolution a loan in the amount of $1.48 million from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund to the Lake Palo Pinto Water Supply Corp.
The assistance will allow the PPWSC to finance construction costs associated with rehabilitating and expanding its water treatment plant.
PPWSC could save approximately $255,109 over the life of the loan by using the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.
In October 2012, TWDB approved financial assistance to PPWSC for the planning and design phase of the project. With that phase now complete, PPWSC is ready to move forward with construction. The assistance  will allow an increase in the capacity of the water treatment plant and the raw water pumps and provide additional system improvements.
