Hell’s Gate movie filming continues

The filming of “The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy” continued in Granbury with scenes of Hidetown, later named Snyder.
“We wrap Nov. 17,” said Tanner Beard, who wrote and is directing the full-length feature film.
“This is our third week of shooting,” he said Sunday. “We started off in Boerne, then we traveled up to Possum Kingdom then we shot in Erath, Palo Pinto and Hood counties.”
Beard said post production editing, music and sound would take about four months with an anticipated release of summer or fall next year.
