Filmmakers again visit Possum Kingdom Lake for some final shots of Hell’s Gate for the movie “The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy.” Sunday, left to right, cameraman Tom Campbell, assistant cameraman Rob Gilpin, director Tanner Beard and Nath
Jay Naylor, of Naylor’s by the Water at Possum Kingdom Lake, converted a 25-foot pontoon boat to a floating camera deck for filming Hell’s Gate Sunday. Tanner Beard, actor, director and producer of “The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy” brought along a camera crew to film scenes of the present day PK landmark to use in scenes of the movie they have been filming for the last couple of months. Beard noted that present day Hell’s Gate would be the scene used in the movie’s epilogue.
