Team Bicycle and riders from all over Texas and its neighboring states are returning to Mineral Wells Saturday and Graford Sunday for the Mineral Wells Stage Race 2011.
Over 270 riders took the challenging rainy weekend in April 2010 and stated then they couldn't wait to return.
"It's a lot of fun," said Kevin McFarland of Team Toms. "We loved the rolling hills and challenges the course presents. We are like a group of brothers who ride together all the time all over the place and this is one of the amazing environments for our team."
The teams will start Saturday morning with sign-ups at the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce and will take on the rolling city streets around the Baker Hotel. Sunday the teams will meet at Graford Independent School District and pray for dryer weather as they encompass the circular path of Highways 16, 254 and 337.
Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Office deputies will stop traffic as competitors come through different areas. Drivers can expect delays.
