Santo took a big win over Ranger Friday night, 62-8. "The kids played well," noted coach Randy Thornton. "It was a good first game. It's always good to get the first one under your belt. Quarterback Kyle Moore ran for 22 yards on eight carries and completed three of eight passes for 34 yards. Garrett Nemeth carried twice for 25 yards and caught a pair of passes for 18 yards and one score. Keith Chalker carried five times for 20 yards and a score while recording one pass reception for 16. The Wildcats racked up 398 yards of offense on 359 yards rushing and 39 passing. On the defensive side, Chalker, playing free safety, picked up 2.5 tackles with one interception that turned into a 97-yard touchdown.
