The Graford Lady Rabbits handed Paint Creek a 57-18 loss Tuesday, improving to 2-0 in district.
The Graford girls took control of the game early, taking a 15-2 lead into the second quarter and building that to a 30-6 advantage at the half.
"I'm glad to get the win, but we are going to have to play better if we want to win a district championship," noted Coach Jarod Westmoreland. "We missed too many easy shots that we normally make. Two things we did do good was our defense was not too bad and we were 15 of 16 from the free throw line. We will have our hands full with Newcastle on Friday night."
Leading the Lady Rabbits was Sydney Wimberly with 19 points, four rebounds and 14 steals.

Graford travels to Newcastle for a 6:30 p.m. game today, Friday, while the JV girls play a 4 p.m. game at Bryson.
