Courtney Flanagan led the girls with 20 points; Taylor Nemeth scored 13; Chasen Howard, 12; Payton Billue, eight; Callie Wharton, six; Madison Lasater, five; and Jaci Trotter, four. The Lady Cats are at 6-0 in district, 18-7 on the year. Santo teams begin play at 4 p.m. today, Friday, at Poolville. Last week, the Lady Cats visited Perrin and came home with a 58-19 win. "It was a balanced scoring and good defensive night," noted Raffaele. In the first quarter, Santo held Perrin to just one point while scoring 13. By the half, the Lady Cats had built a 26-9 lead. Howard led Santo with 21 points; Trotter scored eight; Flanagan, seven; Breeana Raffaele and Lasater, five each; Billue, four; Megan MacPherson and Wharton, three each; and Nemeth, two. The JV girls also took a big win, handing Perrin a 66-15 loss. "It was a good shooting night for the JV," Raffaele commented.
